翻訳クラウドソーシングサービス Conyac を使ってみた

翻訳のクラウドソーシングサービス Conyac の Light 翻訳を利用してみました。

基本有料ですが、新規登録時に 250pt （1pt = 1.5円）がもらえ、200pt で利用できる Light 翻訳というプランであれば、日本語240文字を翻訳でき、無料で体験できます。

Light 翻訳は、1回 200pt で、文字数上限が日中韓の場合 240文字、翻訳者がランダムのプランです。また、翻訳結果が公開されます。

同様のサービスとして Gengo というのもあります。@ch3cooh さんが書いた、GengoとConyac、クラウド翻訳サービス各社の翻訳品質と価格を調べてみたも参考にしてみてください。

日本語から英語の翻訳依頼で、プロ生ちゃんの紹介文を選択。240文字以内に収まるためトピック部分も含めました。

都内の公立高校に通う高校生。部活は、情報処理研究会。身体を動かすのも好きで、気が向いたときはなぜか体育会系の部活に混ぜてもらっていろんなスポーツをすることも。プログラミング生放送のキャラクターとして活動中！

依頼画面は次のようになります。タグで「フォーマル」や「サイエンス」など雰囲気や分野を指定します。今回は「カジュアル」を選びました。また、備考に翻訳者宛のメッセージを記入できます。

翻訳結果

※ 下記の内容は Light 翻訳のため、翻訳者によって翻訳結果が大幅に変わる可能性があります。

2つの翻訳が集まるか24時間経過すると、依頼が終了するとのこと。説明に見当たらなかったのだけど、24時間後に2件未満の場合はポイント消費しないということなんでしょうか。

実際は、19分で2件の翻訳結果がきました。

ひとりは評価74の人、もうひとりは評価52の人で英語ネイティブのマークが付いた方です。では、TOEIC 400点台の私が確認していきます。

固有名詞の Kurei Kei、Pronama-chan など、備考の指示からきちんとサイトを見てくれたのでしょうか。「上坂」は間違っていますが、固有名詞の修正ぐらい私もわかります。

クラブ名として使われる「研究会」が、単なる高校生の部活なので circle となっていますね（ちなみにプロ生公式では「情報処理研究会」は、computer science club を使っています）。他の部分も結構意訳してくれている雰囲気。紹介文の後半、私が訳せません。

固有名詞の間違いは全然構わないのですが、Google 翻訳の結果と似ています。一応翻訳者に Google 翻訳から修正したのか聞いたところ、違うということでした。

直訳に近いのかもしれませんが、私にはこっちの方が理解できるかな……。クラブは、Information Proccesing Group になって高校生らしくないです。
